Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Kayla Johnson to approve the July 27, 2026, meeting agenda, with the removal of item 7.q. Approval of the Declaration of Surplus Obsolete Equipment and approval for sale of a John Deere 4600 tractor.  Motion passes (6-0)

    1. Motion by Craig Severs second by Nate Hayes to approve the June 22, 2026, regular board meeting minutes and the June 29, 2026, special board meeting minutes.  Motion passes (6-0)

    2. Motion by Jerem Haack second by Kayla Johnson to approve the Invoices, Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Wire Transfers, and Purchase Card Statement.  Motion passes (6-0)

    3. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Craig Severs to approve the appointments, resignations, and retirements:
      1. Appointments:  Nyla O’Connell - .8 FTE Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), Joseph Williams - .5 FTE Bus Mechanic, .5 FTE Custodian, Dan Boomgaarden - .5 Custodian, Fall Coaching Staff: Jenny Skoog - Varsity Cross Country, Sarah Pierson - JH Cross Country, Andreana Nylander - Varsity Volleyball, Matti Nelson - JV Volleyball, Jordan Sonstegard - C-Team Volleyball, Chloe Olson - JH Volleyball, Breann Henrickson - JH Volleyball, Karly Thompson - JH Volleyball, Bryan Sathre - Varsity Football, Austin Heimstra - Varsity Asst Football, Matt Grover - JH Football, Jaylin Raschke - JH Football.  Motion passes (6-0)

    4. Motion by Robyn Sonstegard second by Kayla Johnson to approve Resolution 2026/2027-01 accepting a donation from Heatmor, Inc. of a variety of steel and stainless steel to the Lake of the Woods High School welding program.  Motion passes (6-0)

    5. Motion by Nate Hayes second by Jerem Haack to approve A+ Driving School as Driver’s Education contractor for the 2026-2027 school year.   Motion passes (6-0)

    6. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Kayla Johnson to approve the High School Course Schedule 2026-2027.  Motion passes (6-0)

    7. Motion by Kayla Johnson second by Boyd Johnson to approve Resolution 2026/2027-02 Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) plan.  Motion passes (6-0)

    8. Motion by Robyn Sonstegard second by Boyd Johnson to approve Sara Lucek Foods, LLC as the contractor for the Bears Den.  Motion passes (6-0)

    9. Motion by Jerem Haack second by Boyd Johnson to approve the School Readiness Tuition Fee Schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.  Motion passes (6-0)

    10. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Nate Hayes to approve the Superintendent Evaluation Summary.  Motion passes (6-0)

    11. Motion by Kayla Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve the daycare contract with Hailey Stephenson.  Motion passes (6-0)

    12. Motion by Robyn Sonstegard second by Boyd Johnson to approve the room rental contract with Nicole Gate (Bright Beginnings Preschool).  Motion passes (6-0)

    13. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve appointing Scott Fitzsimonds as Interim Principal until such time as the position is filled with a BOSA licensed candidate.  Motion passes (6-0)

    14. Motion by Kayla Johnson second by Jerem Haack to approve authorizing the district to apply for an Administrative Variance for hiring a Non-Licensed Administrator.  Motion passes (6-0)

    15. Motion by Craig Severs second by Kayla Johnson to approve the hiring of Shelby Nosan as Dean of Students with the title change to Principal upon approval of an Administrative Variance by the Board of School Administrators (BOSA).  Motion passes (6-0)

    16. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve the cancellation of contracted services with SMS at the end of the current contract effective September 30, 2026.  Motion passes (6-0)

    17. Motion by Jerem Haack second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve the 2026/27 teacher contract with Nathan Solar.  Motion passes (6-0)

    18. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Nate Hayes to approve the Elementary Student Handbook 2026-2027.  Motion passes (6-0)

    19. Motion by Kayla Johnson second by Jerem Haack to approve the High School Student Handbook 2026-2027.  Motion passes (6-0)
