Volunteers needed again Thursday to fill sandbags in Baudette

Thanks to the volunteers that showed up last night (June 29th)! There was around 4,000 sandbags that got filled. We are looking for more volunteers tonight (June 30th) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Highway Department Office located at 306 8th Ave Se, Baudette MN to create another 4,000 sandbags to hit our goal. Lake of the Woods County will donate $30.00 per hour per volunteer to the Lake of the Woods County charity/organization of your choice.

The public can pickup sand bags by appointment between 7:30am and 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. Please call the Highway Department (218-634-1767) prior to coming to pick them up to ensure an operator will be here to load you.
