Margaret L. Phillippe, 76

A Memorial Service for Margaret L. Phillippe of Baudette, MN was held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Living Waters. Visitation was held one hour prior at the church. Interment will take place at Elm Park Cemetery in Baudette.

Margaret (Peggy) Lee Phillippe was born on May 21, 1949, in Bemidji, MN to John and Dorothy Schauls. She was raised on a farm in Puposky, MN.  After high school Peggy went to Beauty School and lived in Thief River Falls, MN, before moving to St. Cloud. 
While in St. Cloud she met Alan “Flip” Phillippe and moved to Baudette, MN, in 2000 where she worked for many years at Holte Implement. Peggy and Alan married on November 11, 2011. She was a wonderful baker and made homemade buns for every holiday and special occasion. Peggy made beautiful quilts for her family, she loved crafts, needle point, gardening, riding her bike and snowmobile. Peggy and Flip enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and spending time with their dogs Eddie and Taffy. 

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Schauls; sister, Alice Martin. 

She is survived by her children, Mark (Jessica Turner) Moreau, Jenny Moreau; grandchildren, Garrett, Ben, Malcolm, Aimee, Dennis, Sophia; siblings, Betty Daniels, Doris Ruud, Richard Schauls; step daughters, Lisa (Joe) Borg, Ashley (Igor) Romansov.
