Mayor C. Lundsten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Minutes
Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to approve the January 12th meeting minutes.  Council Member J. Kukowski seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously. 
 
New Business
The Liability Waiver Form was discussed. After some discussion, Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to opt not to waive the tort limits. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passing unanimously. 

The Minnesota Rural Water Association Conference was discussed.  Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to send Chad Lundsten and Tony Brouse again this year. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passing unanimously (C. Lundsten abstained from voting as it concerns him).

The upcoming Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers meeting/training was discussed. Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to send L. Nicholson to the meeting in Crookston. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passed unanimously.

The March League of Minnesota Cities training was discussed.  Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to send L. Nicholson to the training in Mahnomen. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passed unanimously.

The Council discussed the 211 Crisis Response Team. After some discussion it was decided that the City declines to offer supplemental financial support at this time.

Personal Protective Equipment for the City Works Supervisor was discussed.  After some discussions, Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to spend up to $150 on work boots and up to $150 on a high visibility coat every 3 years as safety equipment for the City Works Supervisor. And this is to be added to the employee manual. The motion was seconded by Council Member A. Bastyr, with it passed unanimously.

Claims
Council Member L. Huerd moved to approve the claims paid.  Council member J. Kukowski seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.

Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:18 p.m. Council Member J. Kukowski seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.
