Call to Order
Mayor C. Lundsten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Minutes
Council Member J. Kukowski made a motion to approve the December 8th meeting minutes. Council Member J. Klicker seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.
New Business
Clerk Nicholson informed the Council that the Mayor or Crosslake has written a letter to the State Representatives, Senators, & Governor Walz. The letter has been signed by more than 240 Minnesota Mayors. The letter was presented to the Council for their review. After some discussion the Council wholeheartedly opted to have Mayor Lundsten sign the letter and join the hundreds of Mayors across the State who are in support of what the letter says.
The Arena lease with the Williams Arena Association was reviewed. Council Member L. Huerd made a motion to approve the lease. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passing unanimously.
The computer used by the librarian in the Williams Library was discussed. Council Member J. Klicker made a motion to purchase a new computer with funds that were donated to the library. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passed unanimously.
The audit engagement letter was discussed. After some discussion, Council Member J. Klicker made a motion to sign the letter. The motion was seconded by Council Member J. Kukowski, with it passed unanimously.
The Council discussed security in the Arena. After some discussion it was decided that if the Arena association wants to help with the cost of the internet subscription and cameras, the city would look into a Blink Camera System for the Arena.
Mayor C. Lundsten discussed installing a light on the west side of the creek that would come on when the generator is running. After some discussion on the matter, Council Member J. Klicker made a motion to install a light indicating the generator is running if the quote comes in for less than $750. The motion was seconded by Council Member L. Huerd, with it passed unanimously.
City Works Supervisor asked the Council for permission to purchase a cordless grinder. After some discussion, the Clerk was directed to purchase a grinder for the City.
Council Member J. Klicker spoke about the City’s Christmas Decoration Contest. She said that the winner of the contest was the Jimmy Steinberg home.

Claims
Council Member J. Klicker moved to approve the claims paid. Council member J. Kukowski seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.
Adjournment
Council Member J. Klicker made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:297 p.m. Council Member L. Huerd seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.
