Graceton annual Meet your Neighbors and Cemetery Meeting
It’s that time again! The annual Graceton Cemetery clean-up and meet your neighbor gathering will be Thursday April 28 beginning at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner, and a 6 p.m. meeting at Bill and Kay Adam’s home just south of the Graceton Cemetery. Early Childhood Screening
Lake of the Woods Early Childhood Screening will take place on Friday, April 29th, 2022. This screening is free and is available to all children who are between the ages of 3— 5 or are new to our district. If you plan on sending your child to Kindergarten here at Lake of the Woods School, and your child will be three on or by April 29th, 2022; then you should have received a screening packet in the mail. If you did not receive this packet in the mail,please call the main office at 218-634-2510 and speak to Mrs. Diane Laine. You will be asked for basic contact information, and a packet of forms will then be mailed out to you. Once you receive your packet and scheduled time for your child’s appointment, please let us know at this same number if the scheduled appointment time works for your family.
L/W School Band to perform final concert of school year
The Lake of the Woods School bands will be performing in their final concert of the year on Wednesday, May 4th, at 7 p.m., in the school auditorium. Grades 5-12 will be performing, and senior high band awards will also be presented. A special combined band will perform two pieces at the end of the concert. Concerts are free and open to the public.
Evangelical Covenant Church to show movie “The Most Reluctant Convert”
The Evangelical Covenant Church of Baudette will be hosting a one-night, ticketed event showing the movie, "The Most Reluctant Convert," The story of C.S. Lewis, on May 14, at 7 p.m. C.S. Lewis, best known for the "Chronicles of Narnia" series is one of the most accomplished authors of our time and probably the most famous Christian Apologist in recent history. In the movie, Lewis tells the story of his conversion from a hater of Christians to a defender of the faith. Paper tickets will not be sold for this event. All tickets must be purchased online at faithcontentnetwork.brushfire.com/themostreluctantconvert/532089. The ticket price is lower than a standard movie ticket, so order today. Seating will be limited.

Lake of the Woods Food Shelf Distribution
May 19, June 23
Food distribution starts at 2:00 p.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m. in Baudette at the Lighthouse 106 2nd St. NE. Please come to the west end by the parking lot. Baudette Flag Fund
The flag in Baudette next to Willie Walleye is replaced two to three or more times per year, costing $500 each time. Anyone wishing to donate to a fund to keep Old Glory flying can get more information by calling Chuck Tischart at 218-634-2078.

The Triple A Booster Club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Commons at Lake of the Woods School.
