Arnie Norman Anderson

September 16, 1942-May 25, 2024 (passed at 81 years)

He was the son of the late Andy and Mabel Bitzer Anderson. He was born and graduated high school from Baudette High School in Minnesota in 1960.

He served in the US Army during the '60s in the Berlin and Cuban Crisis. He then headed west, working at Oregon Plywood in Garibaldi, Oregon, where he met his wife, Betty Lee Lawrence. Arnie and Betty were united in marriage and celebrated their 58th wedding

anniversary this year. They resided in Forest Grove, Oregon, where their two sons, Bob and Darrin, were raised.

He completed his apprenticeship in sheet metal. He owned and operated a business in HVAC and new home construction.

Arnie's hobbies were hunting, fishing, and golf. He will always be remembered for his huge garden with lots of tomatoes and his green lawn manicured to perfection. His favorite of all was deep-sea fishing with his sons, family, and friends. He loved his family.

and will always be remembered as "The Captain of Our Ship."

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; two sons, Robert and Darrin, and Darrin's wife, Jennifer; two grandsons, Jacob (Victoria) Inukai and Sam Inukai; and fiancé' Sydney; and two great-grandsons, Maverick and Bo. Three brothers: Roger (Roberta), Nathan, and Bill

Ole. Two sisters, Marilyn (Roger) Lindquist and Ruby (Roy) Hettling, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A private celebration will be held at a later date.
