OF THE MOTOR VESSEL KEEPING IT
KEEL II FOR EXONERATION FROM OR
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Plaintiff ArmstrongLOW, Inc., owner of the vessel “KEEPING IT KEEL II,” a 27‐foot Sport‐Craft with Hull Identification Number SXK96011K495 (the “Vessel”) has filed a Complaint claiming the right to exoneration from, or limitation of, liability pursuant to the Limitation of Shipowners’ Liability Act, 46 U.S.C. § 30511, involving admiralty and maritime claims within the meaning of Rule 9(h) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Rule F of the Supplemental Rules for Admiralty or Maritime Claims and Asset Forfeiture Actions, for any and all claims, injuries, losses, damages, or expenses incurred arising out of, or resulting from, the June 18, 2021 incident that occurred aboard the Vessel while on Lake of the Woods, near Baudette, Minnesota, as more fully described in the Complaint; and
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons or entities having any claim or suit against ArmstrongLOW arising out of, or resulting from, any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred aboard the Vessel on June 18, 2021, must, as provided in Rule F of the Supplemental Rules for Admiralty or Maritime Claims and Asset Forfeiture Actions, file a Claim with the Clerk of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in the above‐entitled action, and serve or mail a copy of the Claim to Plaintiff’s attorney Vince C. Reuter, Eckland & Blando LLP, 800 Lumber Exchange Building, 10 South Fifth Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402 by May 16, 2022. Personal attendance is not required.
Failure to file a timely claim may result in default. Any claimant desiring to contest ArmstrongLOW’s right to exoneration from, or limitation of, liability must, in addition to filing and serving a Claim, also file and serve an Answer to Plaintiff’s Complaint, on or before the aforesaid date, as required by Rule F(5) of the Supplemental Rules for
Admiralty or Maritime Claims and Asset Forfeiture Actions.
