1. Call to Order by Chair Corryn Trask at 7:27 PM.

Motion by Tim Lyon second by Karla Robida to approve the December 18, 2023 meeting agenda. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

a. Motion by Lynnette Ellis second by Tim Lyon to approve the October 3, 2023 special board meeting minutes and the November 27, 2023 regular board meeting minutes. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

b. Motion by Karla Robida second by Tim Lyon to approve the Invoices, Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Wire Transfers, and Purchase Card Statement. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0)

c. Approval of Personnel - Resignations, Retirements, and Appointments

i. Motion by Karla Robida second by Tim Lyon to approve the resignation of Carol Buscho - Assistant Cook; and the appointments of Emily Tange - Pool Attendant, Diane Carlos - Intervention/Read 180-System44 Teacher, Nicole Fiala - School Readiness/VPK Teacher, & Brett Nylander - Varsity Hockey Coach. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0)

d. Motion by Lynnette Ellis second by Karla Robida to approve the Contract Agreement for Professional Services Agreement with Northland Counseling Center. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

e. Motion by Lynnette Ellis second by Tim Lyon to set the Organizational Meeting date to January 8th at 8:00 AM. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

f. Motion by Tim Lyon second by Lynnette Ellis to approve Resolution 2023/24-17 accepting a donation of $70.00 from Barbara Bukoweic as a memorial donation to Lake of the Woods School. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

g. Motion by Tim Lyon second by Karla Robida to approve Resolution 2023/24-18 accepting a donation of $30.00 from Steve and Joanne Ballard as a memorial for Barbara Bukoweic to Lake of the Woods School. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

h. Motion by Karla Robida second by Tim Lyon to approve Resolution 2023/24-19 to Establish Combined Polling Places for 2024. Roll call: Lynnette Ellis (yea), Boyd Johnson (not present), Corryn Trask (yea), Robyn Sonstegard (not present), Tim Lyon (yea), Karla Robida (yea). Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

i. Motion by Lynnette Ellis second by Tim Lyon to approve Resolution 2023/24-20 accepting a donation of $50.00 from Tom and Joy Bukoweic as a memorial donation for Barabar Bukoweic to Lake of the Woods School. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

j. Motion by Tim Lyon second by Karla Robida to approve Resolution 2023/24-21 to set the property tax levy at $2,050,832.79 for 2023 payable 2024. Roll call: Lynnette Ellis (yea), Boyd Johnson (not present), Corryn Trask (yea), Robyn Sonstegard (not present), Tim Lyon (yea), Karla Robida (yea). Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).

k. Motion by Tim Lyon second by Lynnette Ellis to approve the 2024 sprinkler inspection contract with Dakotah Fire Protection. Motion passes (Vote: 4-0).
