LaVonne Baade, 77

LaVonne Gayle Baade Passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 77. LaVonne was born August 13, 1946, in Warroad, MN to Mildred (Gage) and Horace Hooper. They moved to California and then to Hobbs, New Mexico.
LaVonne was united in marriage to James Russell with whom she had 2 children, James (Maverick) and Lance. LaVonne and James later divorced and she married Kenneth Baade of Pitt, MN. LaVonne gained three bonus children in her marriage to Kenneth; Deborah, Dorothy, and Jason.
LaVonne spent many years as a waitress, bartender, and pull-tab seller along with tending to her husband Kenneth and his farm. LaVonne loved taking trips to the casino and any family function where she got to sit and visit with the kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and even great-great-grandkids. LaVonne is remembered by her grandkids for her sleepovers that usually included "bold" stories and very "blunt" advice along with many laughs.
LaVonne is survived by her sister Gloria Baker, sons Maverick (Christie) Russell and Lance Russell (Kellie) along with Lance and Kellie's kids Sydney, Logan, and Mason who held the biggest part of her heart. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Dorothy Lucek and stepson Jason Baade, nephews Wade Wilder and Michael Baker, and niece Shawna Owens. LaVonne is survived by grandchildren Amanda (Ronnie) Spaur, Justin (Samantha) Lucek, Terrance Baade, Carie (Jeremy) Meyer, Braun (Shauna) Murray, and Michael Lucek. Great-grandchildren include; Kegan, Kayden, Derek, Cassidy, BayLeigh, Amber, Eric, Danika, Aayden, Elyn, Karys, and Elsie. LaVonne was fortunate enough to be survived by three great-greatgrandchildren, Everly, Oliver, and Finley
LaVonne was proceeded in death by both parents, her husband Kenneth Baade, brother Randy Hooper, step-daughter Deborah Bey, step-son-in-law Ron Lucek, and granddaughters Brandi Murray, Narra-Lyn Lucek, and Mackenzie Baade.
Graveside services for LaVonne Baade were held January 12th, 2024, at 3:30 pm at the Pitt Cemetary with lunch and gathering to follow at the Moose Lodge in Baudette.
