L/W High School Band Concert

The Lake of the Woods School Bands will be performing their mid-winter concert on Tuesday, March 15th, at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. This will be the FIRST concert for the elementary band, and will also feature the junior high band and senior high band. Candlelight Ski and Snowshoe

The L/W School Forest Committee is hosting its Annual Candlelight Ski and Snowshoe Event at the ALELA School Forest on Wednesday, March 16 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

String Art Class

A String Art Class will be held on Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m. at the Roosevelt Legion Hall. Both kids and adult designs will be available to choose from. The price for kids is $20 and adults are $45. Contact Brittany at 701-590-2659 to pre-register by March 16. This event is a fundraiser for the Roosevelt Playground Project.

Bantam AA State Tournament

The Bantam AA State Tournament will be held on March 18 through 20th at the Lake of the Woods International Arena. The Arena welcomes anyone who wants to come out and watch. Prices for admission are:

Adult Pinewood Derby

Northwest Minnesota Foundation to Host Community Connections Events

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is hosting two upcoming free events in Baudette with the goal of hearing from its neighbors throughout the region. Events are scheduled to be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, at the AmericInn and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 25, at the AmericInn.
