CITY OF ROOSEVELT

LAKE OF THE WOODS AND ROSEAU COUNTY, MINNESOTA

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City of Roosevelt City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Roosevelt Community Center (Legion Hall), Roosevelt, MN, to conduct a public hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear from the public, discuss, and take action on an interim ordinance authorizing a study and imposing a moratorium on the operation of cannabis businesses in the city. Persons wishing to express an opinion regarding this matter are invited to attend and provide comments at the hearing or to submit written comments prior to or at the hearing.

The purpose of the public hearing is to hear from the public, discuss, and to take action on a proposed ordinance prohibiting the sale of edible cannabinoid products in the city as authorized under Minnesota Statutes, section 151.72. Persons wishing to express an opinion regarding this matter are invited to attend and provide comments at the hearing or to submit written comments prior to or at the hearing.
