Adlai William "Bill" Brink, 84

Adlai William “Bill” Brink, age 84, of Stillwater, MN, passed away on June 15, 2023.
Bill was born in Warroad, MN, on August 12, 1938, to Dr. Adlai and Marge Brink and grew up in Baudette, MN. His lifelong outdoor pursuits of hunting, boating, and fishing began in his childhood along the Rainy River and Lake of the Woods.
After graduating from Baudette High School, Bill served in the Marine Corps. After his service in the Marines, he attended St. John’s University and then graduated from Bemidji State University. He was married to Ardis Olson on August 29, 1964, and they welcomed a son, Adlai A. Brink, on April 22, 1968.
Bill received a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota. He began his legal career in Hallock, MN, before moving back to Baudette, where he and Ardis opened the Brink Law Office.
Bill and Adlai spent many hours together at their cabin, in the woods hunting or on the water fishing. He loved books, coffee, and good conversation with friends. He was also an avid bowler and curler during his time in Baudette.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his son Adlai. He is survived by his wife, Ardis; sisters Bonnie Moosbrugger of Fargo, ND, and Leslie Honebrink of Benson, MN, brother Lyman Brink of Bemidji, MN; grandson Ryan Brink of Stillwater and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family encourages donations to a favorite charity. Any memorials received will be donated to the Brink Senior Center in Baudette. Goodnight, Bill. See you around.
