Public Notice: County Road Vacation Hearing

NOTICE OF ROAD VACATION
HEARING

LAKE OF THE WOODS COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to MN Statute §164.07 that the County Board of Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota will conduct a Public Hearing on January 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake of the Woods County Government Center Commissioners Room for the purpose of considering and acting upon a motion the Lake of the Woods County Board of Commissioners made on December 13, 2022 pursuant to MN Statutes §164.06 and §164.07 calling for the vacation of a dedicated public roads within the Pitt Plat for the following described roads:

The Proposed roads to be vacated in the order referenced, all roads within the Platt of Pitt. This does not include the road “Pitt Road NW” which borders on the South side of the platt of “Pitt”, and the road “Sanborn Road NW” which borders on the East side of the plat, further to be named Main Street, Sanborn Avenue, and all unnamed alleys as described and recorded in the Recorder’s office.

The Board will review the petition to vacate at the Public Hearing.

All persons interested in this matter are encouraged to attend the hearing.

The tract of land through which said road passes and the owners and occupants thereof, as nearly as we can determine, are as follows:
