PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

LAKE OF THE WOODS COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT / PLANNING COMMISSION

There will be a Lake of the Woods County Board of Adjustment/Planning Commission hearing on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room of the County Government Center in Baudette, Minnesota. The Board may also be conducting lot viewals on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, starting at approximately 4:30 p.m. The Board will consider the following requests:

Philip Tange A tract in Government Lot Three (3), Applicant is requesting a
Section Twenty-five (25), Township One variance from Section 1005
Hundred Sixty-two (162) North, Range of the Lake of the Woods
Thirty-two (32) West – Parcel ID# County Zoning Ordinance,
19.25.31.060 to sell a portion of property and relocate the boundary line between two abutting non-conforming lots of record, which will increase the degree of nonconformity for lot size and width within the shoreland area of the Rainy River. The Rainy River is an Agricultural River
segment.

Winter Sett, Inc. Lot 12, Block 3, Winter Sett Estates Applicant is requesting a
of Section nine (9) Township One Conditional Use Permit as
Hundred Sixty-two (162) North, required by Section 902 of
Range Thirty-three (33) West – the Lake of the Woods
Parcel ID# 18.51.03.120. County Zoning Ordinance, to cumulatively move more than fifty (50) cubic yards of
material outside of the shore impact zone of Lake of the Woods for the purpose of disposing dredged material from an existing inland
harbor. Lake of the Woods is a General Development Lake.
