Leasing 118 Acres Ag Land

Lake of the Woods County will receive bids for a combined 3 parcels of ag land, total of 118 acres.

• Sealed Bids must be received by November 14, 2022, 4:00 p.m.
• Minimum bid of $30 per acre.

• All acres shall be used only for agricultural purposes and must be certified through the FSA.
• Lessee will be responsible for paying all associated costs, including recording fees and taxes.

• Lessee does not retain hunting rights.

The following legal description of the three parcels are as follows: Parcel #14.2800.109, 14.2700.009 and 14.2200.009: The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE1/4 of SE1/4), Section Twenty-eight (28), Township One Hundred Sixty-three (163) North, Range Thirty-four (34) West, containing 40 acres agricultural land, more or less (tillable land); The Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4 of NW1/4), Section Twenty-seven (27), Township One Hundred Sixty-three (163) North, Range Thirty-four (34) West, containing 40 acres (tillable land); The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4 of SW1/4), less the south 8 rods of the west 40 rods, in Section Twenty-two (22), Township One Hundred Sixty-three (163) North, Range Thirty-four (34) West, containing 38 acres (tillable land). Together with all hereditaments and appurtenances belonging thereto, subject to the following exceptions: easements of record.

Submit sealed bids to: Lake of the Woods County Auditor/Treasurer, Lorene Hanson, 206 8th Ave SE, Suite 260, Baudette, MN 56623. Bid forms are available in the County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office. Bids are to be submitted by November 14, 2022, 4:00 pm, in a sealed envelope, marked “County Ag Land Bid”.

Lake of the Woods County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids as they deem to be in their best interest.
