ORDINANCE NO. 170.11.120
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A MORATORIUM ON THE SALE OF HEMP DERIVED THC (TETRAHYDROCANNABINOLS) FOOD AND BEVERAGES IN THE CITY OF BAUDETTE MINNESOTA.
1. Purpose: This Ordinance established a moratorium on the sale of help derived THC (tetrahydrocannabinols) food and beverages to allow the city time to study the issue and consider licensing, rules and regulations, and sale management controls for the sale of help derived THC food and beverages.
2. Restrictions: For a period of one year from the effective date of this Ordinance, no sale of hemp derived THC (tetrahydrocannabinols) food and beverages is allowed in the City of Baudette, Minnesota. The city Council reserves the right to extend this moratorium for such additional periods as are necessary to complete the study as allowed by state law.
This ordinance becomes effective upon publication.
Passed by the City Council of Baudette, Minnesota the 8th day of August 2022.
